PRIVACY
Short version: this site runs on as little personal data as possible. We set no cookies and run no ad trackers. Here is the complete picture.
WHEN YOU PAY
- Payment happens on Stripe's own checkout pages. Your card details go to Stripe and never touch our servers. See the Stripe privacy policy for how Stripe handles them.
- After a successful payment, Stripe sends us the email address you entered, the amount and a payment reference. We store these with the payment record and use them for exactly one thing: support and refunds for that payment.
- We never sell data, send marketing email, or share your email with anyone.
WHEN YOU BROWSE
- Your IP address is used transiently to protect the site: rate limiting and duplicate click filtering. Our database stores it only as a salted one-way hash that cannot be turned back into your address.
- Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard, short-lived server logs, like every host on the internet.
- Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's localStorage and never leaves your device.
- Video embeds use YouTube's privacy enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com), which avoids advertising cookies unless you press play.
WHAT IS PUBLIC BY DESIGN
- The board shows public YouTube data: channel names, avatars, subscriber counts, video titles and thumbnails. This data comes from YouTube and belongs to the channel owners.
- Payments appear on the board as anonymous amounts attached to a channel. Who paid is never shown anywhere.
YOUTUBE API SERVICES
- This site uses YouTube API Services to look up public channel and video data. By using the site you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
WHERE DATA LIVES
- Our database runs in the EU (Ireland) and our servers run in the EU (Dublin).
- Payment data lives at Stripe under Stripe's own safeguards.
- Payment records are kept as long as accounting and dispute rules require. Everything else is either hashed, public YouTube data, or never collected in the first place.
YOUR RIGHTS
- You can ask what we hold about you or ask us to delete it. For payment emails that is a quick job; DM @ercanatbas on X.
- Channel owners who want their channel off the board: see the rules page for takedowns.
We process this data to deliver the service you paid for and to keep the site safe from abuse. If this policy changes, the date here changes with it. Last updated August 22, 2026.
